Its hard to believe but riding on the hill was actually still really good. The trail from the clubhouse to the first intersection had a lot of bare spots and you had to hit a lil dirt here and there and ride the side for the most part to get up but it wasn’t that big of a deal. From there out there was a dirt spot here and there but for the most part was smooth sailing. I’d say trails on the hill after the first intersection leaving the club house were a 7 or 8 out of 10. Spring riding conditions and not for the guy that can't bare to hear his carbide hit a stone here and there but man it was still nice to get out there and circle the hill a few times. i figure I pay too much for this sport to sit there and watch when conditions aren't perfect. Bought it to ride it! Logged 51 miles without much of a problem. As expected there was nobody at the club house or on the hill for that matter (with the exception of a couple kids smoking some doobies in a car at the end of Swan road when I returned). Passed 3 XC skiers and that was it. Had the whole hill to myself. I suspect if one got out early this morning they could ride up from the club house but I’d say its not likely it’ll hold up after today’s warmth. Would have to trailer to one on the plowed parking areas on the hill to drop off after today. Still plenty up there to get us to the rain Friday I think. After the rain I think it’ll be done. Maybe we’ll get a blessing and get one more good dump this season.
