Riding the hill last night was the equivalent of water skiing on a dead calm lake.  It was incredible.  You need to have a little self control when it comes to squeezing the throttle as there are absolutely no bumps to make you think it is time to slow down a little.  Thanks to all that have put in numerous hours/late nights to keep the trails in great shape.

There was a jeep buried off the trail as you turn off ridge and head over to the lake just before the next junction (the first trail heading to the lake if leaving from the club).  If someone goes out to try and free the jeep be on the look-out for rutted trails.

Sounds excellent.  Any concerns with the weather before the poker run Sunday?

I must agree with Chris the trails were smooth and you really could get a little carried away with fun flipper  Wink. With only minor traffic last night and the cold temps last night the trails should hold up for the weekend.

Josh

I think I only put on ~45 miles last night.  Got a late start after the meeting and wanted to get home at a decent hour.  I will be there tomorrow night.  I'm thinking I should arrive some time between 5:30-6:00 as I will be taking the trailer to work with me.

Look forward to riding with you tomorrow night.

There is a chance I can be up there tonight for some riding if you guys don't mind me joining in.  Cell is 978-265-1984 as I won't be on the net for much longer.  Leaving from the club?

The trails were nice tonight. I'd give em a 9 out of 10. 91 miles in 3ish hours is good work! The groomer was going out when we were finishing ta cap things off!!!  Shocked 10 out of 10 tomorrow lol. Had a good time riding with you guys tonight. I'm looking forward to getting out there again Sat morning. I snapped some pics before I met up with you guys. I didn't go across the lake but I know Chip did and if I wanted to ride off the hill I would have too. The hill is goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!! Lots of snow up there. Get out there and ride on it before it's gone. Forecast doesn't look very good for the weekend into next week.

Josh - thanks for the pics.  I had a good time riding with you, Chip, and Brett.  Thanks to Brian who was going out to groom the hill as we were heading in.

The jeep has now been removed and Brian was smoothing out some of the minor ruts left behind.

If it indeed does warm up Saturday like it is suppose to I'd ask all riders to be easy on the throttle leaving the club so we have some decent snow to ride up to the first junction for the poker run Sunday rather than having to go through mud.

Get out and enjoy it while its here, I'm afraid it will be gone real soon.

Had a great time riding with everyone.  The boys and I did an easy 20 miles on Saturday morning.  I'll have to figure out how to post pics.
